# MIR — Memory Infrastructure Registry # https://mirregistry.org > MIR is neutral cross-platform participation history infrastructure for the internet. Partners submit events (transactions, verifications, moderation actions) for their users via API, and any platform in the network can query tier-based behavioral signals before making onboarding, authorization, or execution decisions. No PII is exchanged. No raw data is shared between partners. MIR does not score, rank, or label entities — it reports observable participation facts (event count, partner diversity, history age) and lets the consuming platform apply its own judgment. ## Key facts - MIR is not AI. It is a deterministic policy engine with no machine learning. - Events carry no free-form metadata by design. The field does not exist in the schema. Partners cannot accidentally store PII. - External user IDs are SHA256 hashed before storage. MIR cannot reverse them. - The policy engine returns ALLOW, STEP_UP, LIMIT, or DENY based on participation tier. - MIR will never take investor money and will never be sold. Neutrality is a structural commitment, not a policy preference. - Entity types: human users and AI agents (non-human actors) are both first-class. ## API - Base URL: https://mir.events - Submit events: POST /v1/events - Evaluate policy: POST /v1/policy/evaluate - API docs: https://mirregistry.com/api ## Links - Homepage: https://mirregistry.org - Enterprise: https://mirregistry.com - Sandbox (try it without an account): https://mirregistry.com/sandbox - Blog: https://mirregistry.org/blog - Security: https://mirregistry.org/security - Constitution: https://mirregistry.org/constitution - FAQ: https://mirregistry.org/faq - Contact: https://mirregistry.org/contact ## Blog posts - Magic Links Don't Have to Be Only as Secure as Email: https://mirregistry.org/blog/magic-links-dont-have-to-be-only-as-secure-as-email - I've Been Running MIR's Policy Engine on LinkedIn: https://mirregistry.org/blog/running-mirs-policy-engine-on-linkedin - The Internet Doesn't Remember You: https://mirregistry.org/blog/the-internet-doesnt-remember-you - IAM, IGA, PAM — You Need MIR: https://mirregistry.org/blog/iam-iga-pam-you-need-mir - Why Fraud Concentrates: https://mirregistry.org/blog/why-fraud-concentrates ## Contact - Founder: Richard Whitney - Email: security@mirregistry.org - Company: MIRegistry, L.L.C.
